Our Story
Two Paths. One Purpose.
TrueFinance Capital was built from two complementary trajectories — one shaped by decades structuring deals in the world’s most complex financial terrains, the other honed at the fast-moving intersection of capital markets and entrepreneurial ventures.
Alexander Wiese spent over twenty years inside the rooms where sovereign debt gets restructured and climate capital gets mobilised. From his time at Barclays and Credit Suisse to advisory mandates with the ADB, UNDP, and the World Bank, he developed an instinct for what makes capital move — and what makes it stick. His focus on debt-for-nature swaps, SDG bonds, and green bonds across Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the EU reflects a belief that finance, properly structured, can be a force for long-term environmental and social restoration.
Artur Hasselbach brings a different fluency: the language of markets, risk, and venture creation. After a career in investment banking with Commerzbank and hedge fund work across Frankfurt and New York, he pivoted toward building — co-founding Zeitgeist X Ventures and partnering with rethink Ventures to back founders working at the edge of clean tech, mobility, and logistics.
Together, they founded TrueFinance Capital to close the gap between development ambition and deployable capital — with Swiss precision and genuine conviction.
